An early Laura Ashley from the 1970s, produced in Carno, Wales—before expansion, before repetition.

The design is disciplined and deliberate: a high Victorian neckline trimmed in lace, a fitted bodice, and long sleeves that emphasize proportion rather than softness. The waist is gently defined, releasing into a full-length skirt finished with ruffle at the hem.

The cotton is printed in a fine floral, executed in a rose-pink—bold, but controlled. The original self-fabric belt is present, a detail rarely retained and increasingly difficult to find.

Excellent vintage condition. Gently steamed and freshly pressed.
